[14p-D63-18] Structure Analysis for Twisted MgB₂ Multi-filament Wires by X-ray Micro-CT

We have carried out three-dimensional and non-destructive investigation for twisted MgB₂ multi-filament wires by using X-ray micro-CT. After structural analysis, we have revealed that MgB₂ wire subjected to the area reduction working at a rate of 16.1 % has intermittent cracks of the barrier material.
