We have been developed the sensor for the imaging of neurotransmitter such as adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and acetylcholine (Ach). In this study, we proposed the sensor for detection of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and L-glutamate (GLU) because these are important as neurotransmitters to adjust excitatory/inhibitory balance in brain. Our proposed sensor has a plurality of pixel and based on one enzymatic reactions which are that of H2O2. This sensor can determine H2O2 concentration as the potential change of gold caused by electrons transfer produced by enzymatic reaction of H2O2 derived from that of L-glutamate.
