The propagation of the cardiac action potential to generate rhythmical contract/relax cycles is anisotropic in the heart. Heart diseases such as arrhythmia are attributable to the deficiency of the propagation. We have examined the propagation of the action potential across cardiac cell aggregates in a dish during synchronizing the contract/relax motions under mechanical stimuli by probes.
