[14p-P2-4] Pump Modulation Induced Actively Mode-locked Thulium-doped Fiber Lasers

We demonstrate a thulium-doped fiber laser actively mode locked by modulated pumping for the first time. Active CW mode locking is achieved with the pulse duration of 5ps and the spectral width of 0.9nm.
