Pentacene is one of the most important organic semiconductors for flexible electronics. However, there is still a lack of understanding both the injection mechanism from a metallic contact and the bulk transport mechanism. In this work, we studied DC transport properties of Au / pentacene / Au junctions and analyzed them with the theory of space-charge limited current which takes the field-dependence of mobility into account.
