Actin filament network of J774 cell was imaged using surface plasmon-enhanced microscopy. Patterned silver nanoislands employed for subdiffraction limited localization were fabricated by electron-beam lithography and simple annealing. The average size of randomly distributed near-field was estimated to be ~135 nm. Super-resolved images of cellular actin filament network was obtained on nanoislands after image deconvolution.
