[15a-C41-11] Domain wall motion by external stress in FeCo magnetic wires

FeCo magnetic nanowires were prepared onto flecible substrate. A transversal magnetic anisotropy has been introduced inside the magnetic wire to got stripe domains inside the magnetic wire. Here we we present a domain wall motion in FeCo magnetic wires with external stress on flexible substrate. Both tensile and compresive stress have been applied to the nanowire along the wire direction. Of particular interest is that magnetization rotate 90 degree with tensile stress applied. While comprehesive stress resulted in a single domain with magnetization pointed to the short axis of the nanowire.
