[15a-P5-11] Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering on Sputtered Silver Thin Film Covered by Single Crystal Graphene

Keywords:surface-enhanced Raman scattering, graphene

Although silver surface provides very intense signal of surface-enhanced Raman scattering, the surface is not unstable in acid such as hydrochloride, limiting the ambient for SERS. Graphene is chemically stable and prohibits penetrations of small molecules like H2 and water. We demonstrated that a graphene-coated silver thin film on silicon dioxide has stable SERS in hydrochloride solution.
