A new method to measure the underwater radiation distribution has been developed by using of Cherenkov radiation images. This method uses high sensitivity CCD camera in water. The distribution of Cherenkov radiation was compared with the radiation dose distribution measured by small ionization chamber in water. Consequently, the dose distribution was very similar to Cherenkov profile. Moreover, the total of Cherenkov intensity was proportional to the activity of the radiation source. These facts show that the measurement of Cherenkov image is effective for measurement of radiation distribution and radioactive distribution in water.
