[15p-B11-8] Electronic Devices and Integrated Circuit Architecture towards Symbiosis with Biological Nerve Systems

Takashi Morie1 (1.Kyushu Inst. Tech.)

Keywords:neuromorphic hardware

Some issues and design guidelines to develop electronic devices and integrated circuit architecture are discussed, which fit biological nerve systems, complement and expand information processing in the brain. Neuromorphic hardware developed so far is reviewed, and analog integrated circuits that use new devices for large-scale integration and low power consumption are presented.
