[15p-B13-6] Orientation Control of Organic Oligomer Thin Films on Friction-Transferred Substrates

We fabricated orientation films by depositing an organic oligomer material on friction-transferred poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) layers formed on substrates. We examined optical properties of the resulting films and measured current-voltage characteristics of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) made of these films. The results demonstrated that the oligomer molecules deposited on the friction-transferred PTFE substrates were regularly oriented.
