△ [15p-B7-3] Conidia Germination Suppression by High Water Fraction Air Plasma Effluent
Keywords:Plasma agriculture, Sterilization effect, Atmospheric pressure plasma
Effect of reactive species in liquid phase on conidia germination has been experimentally investigated, whose densities were controlled with atmospheric pressure air plasma jet which can increase water molecule fraction up to 20 %. Reactive species resulted from increase of water molecule fraction enhanced conidia germination suppression, while long-lived reactive species showed negligible effect. This indicates that short-lived reactive species related to H2O has an important role in the germination suppression effect.
