[15p-P10-10] Energy Transfer Processes in YVO4:Bi, Ln(Ln=Sm,Eu,Dy,Er) Phosphor

In order to investigate the energy transfer process between Bi and Ln systematically, YVO4:Bi, Ln (Ln = Sm, Eu, Dy, Er) phosphor with various concentrations were prepared by citrate complex polymerized complex method and their PL spectra were compared. The dependence of calculated energy transfer rate on average distance between Bi and Ln ions indicated similar decrease tendency of the energy transfer rate for all Ln ions with increase of the average distance, and the energy transfer rate increases in order of Er > Sm ≈ Eu > Dy.
