[15p-P14-11] X-ray Imaging Plate using AlN Ceramic

We have found that AlN ceramic plate (SHAPAL, Tokuyama Corp) shows photo-stimulated luminescence (PSL) properties, and we have characterized for X-ray imaging plate applications. The PSL emission wavelength is 360 nm while the stimulation can be performed over a wide range of spectral region over blue-green-red. The response is linear at least from 1 mGy to 10 Gy. Furthermore, we have successfully demonstrated X-ray projection imaging using the AlN ceramic plates.
