Antimony triiodide is a compound semiconductor characterized with a high atomic numbers and high density. Due to layered crystal structure, charge transport in antimony triiodide is seemed to depend on crystal orientation. In this study, samples for detector fabrication were sliced from grown antimony triiodide crystals and detector performance was evaluated by measuring radiation response.
