Cs₃Bi₂I₉ crystals consist of high Z atoms (Cs: 55, Bi: 83, I: 55) and the crystals have high density (5.02 g/cm³). In this study, Cs₃Bi₂I₉ crystals were grown by the Bridgman method and Cs₃Bi₂I₉ radiation detectors were fabricated to evaluate the radiation response and electrical characteristics.
