The purpose of this research was enabling the electrochemically-controlled atom-by-atom precipitation from an Ag2+δS-nanodot. We made Ag2+δS-nanodots by a nanosphere lithography technique. We demonstrated electrochemically-controlled precipitation of Ag atoms by using scanning tunneling microscope.
