[16a-A31-5] EXAFS analysis of solid solution of layered oxides

Layered oxide NaxMO2 (M:transition metal) is a typical electrode material for sodium-ion-secondary battery. We prepared powders of partially M'-substituted P2-type Nax(M,M')O2 and O3-type Na(M,M')O2 (M, M' = Mn, Fe, Co), and investigated local structure of M and M' ions using synchrotron x-ray diffraction and EXAFS (Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure) analysis.
