Keywords:Organic EL, Surface Plasmon

Luminous efficiency of the organic EL device is affected by surface plasmon generated on the metal surface adjacent to the organic layer. Previously we have calculated scattering probability of surface plasmon, but we are not able to explain the enhancement which is obtained by measurement. Therefore, we calculated the accurate enhancement with considering the interference effects of emitted light. In addition, we investigated the relationship of enhancement and scattering probability, and took account of the production process of the surface plasmon.
