[16a-B13-11] Simulation of Glow Discharge Electrolysis Considering Dissolved Oxygen in Liquid

Fumiyoshi Tochikubo1, Satoshi Uchida1 (1.Tokyo Metropolitan Univ.)

Keywords:glow discharge, electrolysis, numerical simulation

The purpose of this study is to clarify the transport of charged and neutral species in glow discharge electrolysis using atmospheric pressure dc glow discharge. One-dimensional numerical simulation was carried out by continuity equations in both gas and liquid, coupled with Poisson’s equation. The gas was helium/water vapor mixture, and the liquid is NaCl aqueous solution with dissolved oxygen. In this work, we focused the influence of dissolved oxygen on the liquid-phase chemistry.
