Amount of hydroxyl radicals produced by discharge inside bubble in water was evaluated with decomposition of organic compunds. The experiments were conducted based on decolorization of indigo carmine and production of hydrogen peroxide in chloride ion solution. Amount of the decolorization of indigo carmine was saturated at 1.5×10-6 mol when indigo carmine concentration was higher than 2.5 mM. The cocentration of hydrogen peroxide produced by discharges decreased with increasing concentration of the chloride ion. These reuslts show that the hydroxyl radicals produced by one discharge was obtained as 1.4×10-11 ~ 1.6×10-11 mol contribute to react with solutes in this experimental condition.
