[16a-B4-9] Investigation of the nanocavity formation and control using phase-change thin materials

VO₂ and GST are phase-change materials have large optical constant change. We designed Si PhC cavities that allows the modulation of the Q value and the cavity wavelength using the phase-change materials. We report the results of theoretical analysis of cavity formation and high-contrast Q modulation based on phase-change material loaded Si PhC waveguide.
