[16p-P6-3] Magnetics-Electrical Properties and Synthesis of Disk-like Molecules Having Hydrogen Bonds

Momo Tadai1, Sadafumi Nishihara2, Yoko Tatewaki1 (1.TUAT, 2.Hiroshima Univ.)

Keywords:Self-organization, conjugated molecular material, hydrogen-bonding

Disc-like molecules could be organized spontaneously into columnar assemblies through strong intermolecular interaction. Many approaches have been explored in order to control of self-organized process. In this study, we synthesized PPA, PPEC and PEB derivatives having hydrogen-bonding side chains and pyridine molecules. The synthesized molecules organized into nanoscopic one- or two- dimensional assemblies by hydrogen bonds and metal coordination observed by SEM and AFM. The magnetic and electronic properties of these metal complexes will be discussed.
