NO and CO pose threats to our environment. For that reason, oxidation of these gases is crucial. Hence, it is vital to produce effective catalysts. Here, we investigate supported platinum (Pt) as a novel catalyst system, since it is known that some transition metals, especially Pt, show high catalytic reaction.
