[19a-P2-23] Formation of diffraction grating in photo-cross-linkable liquid crystalline composite by using galvano system

Recently, we have investigated the photoalignment properties of a composite consisting of a low molecular weight LC and a photo-cross-linkable liquid crystalline (PCLC) polymers. The experiment results confirmed that the direction in the LC composite is realigned by exposing LP ultraviolet (UV) and can be controlled by the polarization direction of this LP UV beam. In this study, using galvano system, various digitized spatial patterns of optical birefringence are directly fabricated in PCLC composite according to the computer design to give further investigated the properties of this promising media.
