PbS quantum dots (QDS) are attractive materials for optical devices due to their low cost solution processing , high absorption coefficient, their band gap tenability via the quantum size effect. but surface defects affect each optical device because Specific surface area of QDs are very large. This study, we investigated that light absorption , photoluminescence characteristic, relaxational charge dynamics and surface defects of PbS QDS with CdCl2 surface passivation .
