Potential induced degradation (PID) is known as one of degradation phenomena of solar cell module occuring on the mega scale solar cell plant. The mechanism on the PID is widery discussed and known that Na in the cover glass of solar cell module causes the degradation. However, the mechanism on the Na diffision in the member of solar cell moduce was not fully understood. We analyzed the diffused Na in cover glass and ethylene vinyl acetate using scanning electron microscope, X-ray energy dipersive spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
