[19p-H101-6] Progress and future prospects of electronic application of HTS materials

Keiichi Tanabe1 (1.SRL)

Keywords:superconductor,high-temperature superconductor,electronic application

The history and progress of the research and development toward electronic application of the copper-oxide high-temperature superconducting (HTS) materials which have been extensively done since the discovery of the materials about thirty years ago are reviewed. In particular, the progress of the developments of the microwave bandpass filters, HTS SQUIDs, and various systems with these devices are presented, including some examples of practical use based on the advantages of high-temperature superconductivity, as well as their future prospects.
