In this study, I aimed at getting the insight about the origin of interface dipole layer, investigating modification of Shockley state on Au(111) surface induced by organic molecular adsorption. This time, I attempted to reveal how Shockley state of metal was affected upon only physisorption by employing normal tetratetracontane (TTC), one of the long chain normal alkanes.
In my presentation, I discuss TTC film thickness dependence, etc. with indicating detailed data.
