Single-molecule surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SM-SERS) is powerful for the analyses of molecules attached onto plasmonic metal nanostructures. This technique is applicable to monitor plasmonic photochemical reactions, which photochemical reactions occur on plasmonic metal nanostructures. Here we show results of the analysis using SM-SERS technique for the chemical reactions of 4- aminobenzenethiol and 4- nitrobenzenethiol onto silver nanocolloidal aggregates.
