[19p-W321-3] Observation of a laser-induced bubble by laser beam transmission probe

Dynamics of the cavitation bubble induced by pulsed-laser irradiation in water was investigated by laser beam transmission probe. We measured the dependence of the bubble dynamics on the ambient temperature, and discussed if the resuts can be explained by vapor pressure change due to the temperature.
