Keywords:field effect transistor,molecular imprinted gel

In this study, molecular imprinted gel (MIP gel) gated field effect transistor (FET) was kinetically evaluated for sugar substrate specificity and quantitative performance. The surface potential changes at the gate electrode of glucose imprinted MIPgel based FET were measured by addition of each sugar and analyzed kinetically by approximation to the Langmuir adsorption isotherm. As a result, it was possible to improve drastically the adsorption constant of glucose in glucose MIPgel based FET in comparison with other sugars.
