[19p-W521-1] Trends in Evaluation of Bulk and Interface Electronic Structures of Organic Semiconductors

Hisao Ishii1,2,3 (1.CFS, Chiba U., 2.AIS, Chiba U., 3.MCRC, Chiba U.)

Keywords:organic semiconductor,electronic structure,photoemission spectroscopy

The electronic structure of organic semiconductors is key information to discuss the operation mechanism and performance of devices on the basis of energy levels. In this presentation, I'd like to overview the techniques to investigate electronic structure such as UV photoemission spectroscopy, photoelectron yield spectroscopy, and inverse photoemission sepctroscopy. The progress in the understanding of interfacial electronic structures as well as the development of techniques will be presented with our research results.
