[19p-W541-1] Investigation of Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) cells with high photovoltaic performances

Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) is a candidate material for next-generation photovoltaic cells because of its nontoxic chemical composition and its suitable band gap (Eg =1.4 – 1.5 eV). The reported conversion efficiency of CZTS cells is, however, below 10 %, demanding further improvements. Investigation of CZTS cells with high photovoltaic performances at Toyota CRDL will be reported in this presentation.
