△ [20a-H135-10] The quantum interference of multiple LO modes and an electronic continuum on p-Ga0.5In0.5P

Recently, resonant light absorption at the energy of LO phonon was observed on metal/semiconductor composite materials. It is expected that electromagnetic induced transparency (EIT) on LO phonon systems is applied to light modulator and laser without inversion in terahertz region. We research the quantum interference of multiple LO phonons and an electronic system, which is the basic phenomenon of EIT on phonon systems. We focused on the alloy systems of GaInP as the possible material of EIT. The analysis of Raman spectra of p-Ga0.5In0.5P indicates that the interaction of LO phonons through electron continuum exists. It is thought that this study leads to the control of light absorption in terahertz region.
