[20a-P3-22] Development of magnetic anomaly detection system using a drone

Airbone-based magnetic anomaly detection system, combining drone and sensitive magnetic sensor was investigated. A commercial fluxgate sensor was used in this initial investigation. By mounting the two sensors at the top and bottom of the drone, we configured the electronic gradiometer for noise reduction. As source of magnetic field a magnet on the ground was used. A magnetic signal above on the magnet was. As a result, magnetic field was detected, and the effect of the electronic gradiometer was shown. These results indicate the potential of the prototype system.
