As a preliminary step for device applications of graphene in a microwave band, we fabricated coplanar waveguides (CPWs) on graphene and measured transmission characteristics in a microwave band from 10 MHz to 30 GHz. Reflection and transmission losses of the CPWs were increased owing to the effect from the graphene beneath the CPWs and also increased with increasing graphene length. Basic characteristics of graphene in a microwave band can be extracted from the measured data.
