Incorporation of Au nanoparticles (NPs), generate localized surface plasmon by visible light, into active layer of organic photovoltaic has been expected to improving photon-to-current efficiency. However, Au NPs also induce compelling exciton recombination and disarray of device structure, resulting in degradation of the device performance. In this study, to remediation of these problems, we synthesied core-shell type Au@insulator@p-type organic semiconductor materials NPs.
