[20a-W242-8] Layer by Layer deposition of Metal Organic Frameworks on Polymer Nanosheets

We examined the Layer by Layer deposition ability of Metal Organic Frameworks (MOF) assemblies (HKUST-1) on polymer nanosheets fabricated by Langmuir-Blodgett technique. The deposition of HKUST-1 sheets was identified by observing a characteristic peak at 1374 cm-1 in FT-IR spectra. From x-ray diffraction and atomic force microscopy, HKUST-1 assemblies were grown in (111) crystallographic direction and had a very smooth surface. These results indicate that we have succeeded in depositing HKUST-1 on polymer nanosheets.
