[20a-W531-8] Secondary growth of perovskite crystal for pinhole-free perovskite layers with large single-crystal grains

In this research, we report that high quality pinhole-free perovskite layers can be fabricated by a vapor-assisted high-temperature (VAHT) process. The perovskite layer fabricated by traditional two-step process was composed of small crystals (300 nm ~1µm). The crystal size reached 50 µm when the proposed VAHT method was adopted. The crystal-growth mechanism and applications of the high quality pinhole-free perovskite layer to photo-detectors and perovskite solar cells will be discussed in the presentation.
