[20p-H103-1] Detail of Lattice Vibrations in Isotopic Diamond Superlattice

We report the detail of lattice vibrations of isotopic diamond superlattice where ¹²C and ¹³C diamond layers are stacked alternately. In the case of the superlattice where 36 ¹²C layers and 36 ¹³C layers are alternately stacked, it is found that each layer behaves almost as the bulk from the density of states of lattice vibrations (LVDOS) . On the other hand, LVDOS of the (2, 2) superlattice is nearly equal to that of virtual ^12.5C diamond.
