Organic electro-optic (EO) polymers have a large EO coefficient and small absorption coefficients in a wide range of terahertz region. Therefore, it is expected that the EO polymers enable highly-efficient and broadband terahertz wave generation. In the present study, we demonstrated terahertz wave generation from the EO polymers and evaluated terahertz wave intensities by using 1.5-μm-band pulsed laser light.
