[20p-P10-20] Improvement of mechanoluminescence property in the layered-structure compound Sr3Sn2O7:Sm3+ with the addition of H3BO3

We report mechanoluminescence(ML) property in layered-structure compound Sr3Sn2O7:Sm3+ and investigate the effect of H3BO3 addition . By the addition of H3BO3, the prepared Sr3Sn2O7:Sm3+ shows preferred orientation of c-axis. Moreover, the ML of this sample can also exhibit a 5-times intensity enhancement than normal Sr3Sn2O7:Sm3+.
