Nanopore based single polymer detection devices have made great progress in order to scan DNA sequences. However, relatively long DNA’s, i.e. lambda or T4, frequently clog at pores and cannot be removed. We have focused on visualizing the DNA dynamics near pores and investigated the interactions between pores and DNA’s. We will discuss the DNA length or the pore shape dependence of the clogging.
