We develop a novel higher-order layer stack nanostructure with Au nanoparticles using competitive self-assembly between dielectrophoresis and convective aggregation. Appropriate conditions can provide the gold electrode with a higher order nanostructure to achieve high intensity photoluminescence and surface enhanced Raman scattering effect.
