In this research, we suggest a patterning technology of an enzyme-immobilized membrane consisted of cross-linkable polymer by using lithography method. The suggested technique will be applied to fabricate various membranes for the developing a multi-detection sensor which can simultaneously detect several kinds of neurotransmitters in brain. As a first step of the development, a layer of apyrase-containing cross-linkable polymer was fabricated on a 128×128 pixel ion-image sensor and experimentally demonstrated to monitor the distribution and dynamics of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) activity. Responsivity according to various concentrations of ATP solution were measured. And the output voltage distribution was determined with normal distribution curves for ATP solution. Based on these measured characteristics, we successfully achieved the sequential images according to ATP movement by the enzymatic reaction between apyrase in the patterned membrane and the dropped ATP.
