A ball surface acoustic wave sensor may realize compact, fast, and sensitive trace moisture sensor, but high cost of measuring apparatus for two-frequency measurement (TFM) was a problem. We investigated the applicability of undersampling (US) to TFM and established the theory of TFM in US. In this study, we develop burst waveform US circuit, verify the theory, and apply trace moisture measurement.
