Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance sensor provide label-free real-time detection promising for use in next generation biosensors. We have proposed infrared responsive plasmonic nanoshell array constructed with a polystyrene particle core and a gold shell.
In this work, we attempted to process asymmetry cores from spherical cores of polystyrene using argon plasma for highly sensitive detection.
