TPCO誘導体である5,5’-bis(4’-cyanobiphenyl-4-yl)-2,2’-bithiophene (BP2T-CN)をKCl基板上にエピタキシャル成長させた1次元ニードル結晶を作製し、顕微蛍光スペクトルにおいて単一ニードル結晶の両末端をFabry-Pérot共振器とする干渉縞が観測され、パルスレーザー励起下で蛍光の0-1帯に縦マルチモードのレーザー発振が得られた。
