We are trying for a substantial decrease of voltage loss of organic solar cells by employing charge transfer crystal as a single light absorber. Organic salt obtained from a mixed solution of TCNIH- and MV2+ exhibited light absorption in NIR range that is not observed for TCNIH- alone, as well as an XRD pattern that is neither assigned to TCNIH- nor MV2+. The estimation of energy levels by CV measurements indicated that TCNIH- and MV2+ serve as donor and acceptor, respectively.
